Sundarban Wildlife: What You Can See

The Sundarban is home to the Royal Bengal Tiger, but tigers are shy and rarely seen. More common sightings include spotted deer, rhesus macaques, wild boar, saltwater crocodiles, monitor lizards and many birds such as kingfishers, eagles and herons.
Watchtowers at places like Katka and Kochikhali give you a safe view over the forest. Always stay with your guide and keep quiet on the boat.
